1, - Endocrine released a chemical substance into the bloodstream or the tissue of the body called hormone.
-Exocrine release chemical-substance into the ducts called enzymes.
The pancreas is a dual-function gland that has exocrine and endocrine for glucose metabolism and regulates blood glucose concentration.
2, Major gland of the endocrine system consist
-hypothalamus -control hunger and body temperature, controls behavior, thirst, fatigue, and sleep
-pituitary- It secrets hormone into your bloodstream
-thyroid- It takes iodine and connects into the thyroid hormone called thyroxine and triiodothyronine
-Parathyroid- produce parathyroid hormone and it regulates calcium in the blood
- adrenals- produce hormones help regulate metabolism, blood pressure, immune system, response to stress and other function.
-pineal- produce and secretes metabolism, it regulates biological rhythms like wake cycle and sleeps and it inhibits by light and trigger by dark
-ovaries- produce a hormone called estrogen and progesterone and produce oocytes for fertilization.
- Testis - It produces and store sperm and create testosterone and androgens
3, Autocrine has hormone function to bind to a receptor into the cells and affect the cell to produce it.
Paracrine has hormone action that releases from cells and bind to nearby cells on receptors and affects its function.
