The Research Proposal is a complete description of the intended research. Following these instructions. Through the full proposal, the student needs to demonstrate convincingly that the study will make a contribution to a nursing issue or problem. The full research proposal must be between 3 and 5 pages and should present the following: Title Brief Introduction Background and statement of the problem (this in the light of a thorough literature review) Research question or hypothesis, aim and objectives Study design (type of study) Study population and sampling Data collection methods and instruments Data analysis methods – discuss methodology Mechanisms to assure the quality of the study – e.g. control of bias, safe storage of data Study period - Timetable for completion of the project Participants in the study – all people involved in the study, and the role they play, should be identified.* Ethical considerations Resources required for the study, including budget if applicable Conclusions/implications for practice References
Research is the process of researching something in order to establish facts and reach a new conclusion.
A research proposal is a concise and coherent summary of the proposed work/research/project.
Here we are going to discuss the research proposal on the topic:
"Factors Influencing the utilization of Nursing Research among Nurses"
Research has been used to legitimize the nursing as a profession, education, and careers, and academic nurse have built their careers around it. Evidence-Based nursing research can be used as a tool that is recommended to use by all nursing professional within their scope of their practice in order to improve their own knowledge and skills as well as offering a high quality based standard care to the patient who needs.
Research hypothesis: There will be a significant association between the level of knowledge of nurses regarding the factors influencing the utilization of Nursing Research among Nurses with selected demographic variables.
Aim: The aim of this research study was to explore the various factors that influence the utilization of nursing research among nurses
Objectives:
*Identify the factors that influence the utilization of nursing research among nurses
*Analyzing the nature of factors that influence the utilization of nursing research among nurses
*Analyzing the impact of these factor s on the nurse professionals
*Provide recommendations regarding the importance of utilization of nursing research among the nurses
Study design:
An exploratory, descriptive, qualitative study design
Study population and sampling :
The study was carried out at a hospital in Florida. The research population comprised all the professional nurses who were registered under the Nursing and Midwifery Council. and who were full-time employees. The participants consisted of 3 staff nurses, two senior staff nurses and five nursing officers
Data collection methods and instruments
A consent form was given to those who were willing to participate in the study.
An appropriate date, time and place of the interview was arranged with the participants. The data were collected via a semi-structured interview guide. Each interview lasted for approximately 45m-1hr.
Data Analysis Method :
The data were analyzed using the latent-content analysis method. Verbatim Transcriptions were obtained after an interview session. The data were then coded or concepts within the data were identified.
Mechanism to assure the quality of the study :
*Coded the data by multiple people
*The participants reviewed the results sources
*Checked for alternative explanations, identified interpretations are stronger.
*Reviewed the conclusion with peers
Study period: The period of study is from 21-1-2014 to 27-01-27-1-2014
Participants of the study: The participants consisted of 3 staff nurses, two senior staff nurses and five nursing officers. The ages ranged from 27-41 years, had been practices also ranged from 4-9 years.
Ethical considerations :
Anonymity, confidentiality and informed consent
Conclusions/implications :
The study has provided additional information to nurses on factors regarding the utilization of Nursing Research among nurses and the strategies to be used in overcoming these challenges
Importance of teaching the Nursing research and its evidence to the students well and updating their knowledge of nurses on the nursing research.

Directions What is a research proposal? The purpose of a research proposal is to identify and formulate questions that arise from nursing practice and to design a research project to study the identified problem. The goal of a research proposal is to present and justify a research idea you have and to present the practical ways in which you think this research should be conducted. Research proposals contain extensive literature reviews and must provide persuasive evidence that there is a...
Create a draft of a Marketing Research Proposal of your choice. The topic for this proposal must be related to MARKETING research, not just a generically interesting research topic.
