1 Three challenging issuses related to case management

  • lack of sufficient health care professionals in thehealth care industry
  • Decreased quality in patient care as well as poor patient outcomes
  • Reimbursement problems

2 To improve staff shortage the management must use staff more effeciently. Do not try to over burden the staff. This leads to high staff churn, increased absenteesim and also decreased staff satisfaction.

SOLUTION -

Division of work. The team leader should assign the work to the employees. so administrative task can be reduced and the staff gets enough time for client care.

quality in patient care can be done by providing a safeenvironment,provide staff with adequate and proper tools that heps to do work efficiently and alsohelps to make smart decisions.

Reinbursment problems

one of the challenging issues in health care. Administrators faces challenges in efficiently and accurately biling patients and payers for services they render.

Solution

From the first appointment itself the staff should collect information related to billing and collecting.

If any health insurance status and coverage is present the staff should correctly mention it in the billing system.

3. Health care services rendered for elderly clients depends on many factors. It can be related to their health status andalso the severity of their disability.

Firstly there should be adequately trained health professionals to care the elderly population. This helps to improve the quality of care as well as quality of life of elderly.

Secondly their should be easy access to care. Health insurance, medicare etc makes the elderly easily access to to the health care system.
