Hi Dear Friend, here we have to use Faraday's law of electrolysis

w = [ A * c * t ] / [ Z * F ]

w = mass of metal liberated or deposited;

A = atomic mass of metal (Bismuth) = 208.9804 g/mol ;

c = current in amperes = 0.55 A;

t = time in seconds = 1.60 hours = 5760 seconds;

Z = charge on metal (BiO3-) = +5 ; Bismuth is in +5 oxidation state in this compound

F = Faraday's constant = 96485 C/mol of electrons

w = [ A * c * t ] / [ Z * F ]

w = [208.9804 g/mol x 0.55 A x 5760 sec] / [ 5 x 96485 C/mol of electrons]

w = 1.37233747671 g

w = 1.37 g -------------------------------------- YOUR ANSWER
