Answer: Biomaterial consisting of fibers modified silk worms produced directly from the silk glands of silkworms (Bombyxmori) called silkworm gut fibers. This biomaterial can be a potential solution in tendon and ligament repair due to common injuries and the traditional surgical reconstruction. The generation of different version of silk sutures that could be absorbed by the body can be categorized in the fourth generation which is highly advanced and developed. This material also proved many of the benefits and desirable effects.
