3. If some of the copper ions are lost, then it will affect the total amount of copper obtianed. We will have less amount of copper and thus the percent yield will decrease.

4. If the solid copper obtained is not dried properly, it will show more weight as the weight of the water will also be included in the product and as a result there will be an increase in percent yield.
