Answer #1

5) sulphuric acid is a diprotic acid.

Dissociation reactions of sulphuric acid are

H2SO4 ---------> H+ + HSO-4

HSO-4 ------------> H+ + SO2-4

6)

HBr is a strong acid and it ionizes completely.

HBr -------> H+ + Br-

One molar HBr gives one mole of Hydronium ions

Since [HBr] = 0.015 M, it gives [H+] = 0.015 M

pH = -log[H+]

pH = -log(0.015)

pH = 1.824
