Answer #1

To prevent someone in a firm from repeating what has happened, it is very necessary to have right policies and procedures within the organisation. Not only is it important to have right policies and procedure, but to communicate this on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the same.

As a set of measures to prevent these issues, I would set up following policies and procedure to stop this from happening again.

1) Any advertisement should be approved by the Senior Partner/CEO of the firm. The approval should be taken on a Proposal Note along with all the Content of the advertisement. No changes are allowed in the content thereafter.

2) Any change in the content of the Advertisement should be authorised by the Senior Partner/CEO of the firm as a complete new proposal.

3) Any advertisement placed without proper approvals shall be dealt with strictly which may even lead to job termination of the employee. The employee shall be given an opportunity to present and explain his case before any action is taken.
