Enteral nutrition helps in getting carbohydrates protein fat fiber minerals vitamins directly into gut with the help of tube.the tube is placed in duodenum , jejunum . It help the patient those who cannot take food from mouth ,the aim is to provide and improve nutritional status . It also benefit the patient who is having dysphagia having difficulty in swallowing food , also done if patient is undergoing surgery , also patient iindicated in patient having any medical diseases like ibd , hepatic failure, respiratory failure, traumatic brain injury it is required because patient not able to eat or drink properly, any gastric dysfunction , or having any chronic pancreatitis enteral feeding is required.
