Digital podcasts are audio recording of a panel of people discussing their topic of choice. It may be Audio Visual or just Audio.

While Digital Videos are a visual representation which can be viewed via a digital medium such as a smart phone, laptop or television sets

Both These mediums have a wider spectrum of audience, hence can reach places where other modes of communicating information may not be as easily available. the internet has grown into a much larger platform than one can imagine. Almost everyone has access to the world of internet or knows someone who has the access, thus spread of information is much faster in todays world.

• The information one can generate through podcasts and digital videos can be area specific, talking about the concerns of the people living in that particular community, in a language that is easy understandable to them.
• These mediums are most effect in preventive measures. Prevention and health education of the community can be done through this, with a fraction of the cost it would otherwise incurred had health professionals gone to personally educate a community.
• Cost effective
• Its quick. Like said we discussed earlier, does not take a lot of time for the information to reach the people in a community.
