The barrier chosen is restrictions on prescription writing privileges. Nurses are not allowed to write the prescription ,it's the duty of doctors only . Even though both the nurses and doctors study the same pharmacology . But , with experience and scientific research doctors are more aware of the therapeutic and side effects of drugs hence they are provided the task to write the prescription.

In the nursing profession ,now a new course has been initiated which provides the nurse the responsibility to write the prescription and actions to be taken according to the complaints of the patient . It is just introduced in the practice and is available in some of the institutes . By adding the responsibility of writing the prescription in nurses duty ,it will help in providing fast care to the patient's without waiting for the doctor to take the action according to the signs and symptoms . Hence , it helps to provide immediate care , reduce the workload of doctors etc .
