1. Total volume of IV fluid is 1000ml

Flow rate is 115ml/hr

Start time is 09.30

A. By 3hours out of 1000ml , 345 ml is infused and the the IV fluid level is 655ml

B. Hours it will take to finish = 1000/115 = 8.66hr

C. It will finish at 18.06pm

2. Total volume of IV fluid is 1000ml

Total time to infuse is 5hours

Start time is 01.30 on 7/17/13

A. Flow rate - total volume /total time

= 1000ml/5hour

= 200ml/hr

It will take 5 hours to finish

B. At 06.30 the fluid will finish

C. Of the physician discontinued the fluid at 03.30 hr ,then the fluid level will be at 600ml
