Answer #1

Ans.1- 20 drops present in 1ml

So 15 drop present in =1/20*15=3/4ml

Total fluid given in 8 hrs 3/4*60*8= 360ml

Because 10ml contains 20meq kcl so, 360 ml contains 20/10*360=720meq

And.2 - molecular weight of kcl is 74.5 mg/ mmol

10.07 meq of kcl contain 750 mg of kcl

720 meq contain 750/10.07*720= 53624.62 mg = 53.62gm

And.3 - 1meq = 1 mmol (for substance)

So , 720 mmol administered

Ans.4 - one kcl molecule contain 2 atom or particle

So osmolarity is 2 * 720* 1000/360 = 4000 mosmol/ lit
