Yes, this is true that you can cheat big and get away with it only if you are rich. Have you ever heard that rich people do not follow the traffic rules, they drive very first even at the zebra croosing, school area and the crowded area. They break the law and cheat the innocent people who want to cross the road. We know that it is illegal to not stop for the pedestrian at a zebra point but many people driving expensive cars are getting more irresponsible on the road. But people driving less expensive and old cars stop at the zebra crossing and help people to cross the road.

Another evidence could be, rich people are more likely to be dishonest with their spouses. They think that they have money and they can do anything to entertain themselves. They can be unfaithful to their spouses and get away with it. When they are caught, they just try to get away with the help of money and some false promises. But in certain cases, they have to pay for their dishonesty,they suffer a lot. So it is always good to follow the right path whether you are a rich or poor.
