1. Answer is option A, type 1 error. Type 1 error: incorrect rejection of a true null hypothesis. Type 2 error is the failure to reject a false null hypothesis. Type 1 is false positive and type 2 false negative.
2. Answer is option C, randomization sampling. Generalization is the extension of the research findings from a study conducted on a sample population to the larger population. A sound generalization requires a large population. The larger the population the more the results can be generalized.
3. Answer is option A, the questions asked to participants are not time limited. Recall bias is when there is difference in the way subjects remember or report exposure or outcomes.
4. Answer is option B, case control and cross sectional studies. Selection bias is a kind of error that occurs when the researcher decides who is going to be studied. Like in cases where the selection is not randomised like in cohort, case control and cross sectional studies.
