If you are what you eat, in sense denotes " If you eat healthy foods you will be healthy, if you eat unhealthy foods you will be unhealthy. Ostensibly, the food that we eats always have an adverse effects on our energy, mood and even on our behaviors. There are vast difference between healthy and unhealthy foods. If an American consumes most nutrients- dense foods like whole plant foods including green vegetables, beans, seeds, and other fruits, he will get a maximum dose of vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants, and other nutrients that needed for a body to stay healthy and protect from heart diseases, high cholesterol and even from cancers. On the other hand, if he consumes sugar up to 130 pounds a year, the body become inflamed and clogged with unhealthy foods and this further results in breeding ground for the ills including obesity, heart diseases and cancer. To maintain a good health, it is advised to have a low-fat, low-sugar, whole-food plant based diet.
The older you get, the more this came to true. High intake of sugar consumption results in risky diseases which further damages the other organs and further to death. So, it is important to have a balanced diet on all aspects. Being healthy is important than binge eating.
