Question

Topic Think about some activities that you do in your everyday life that include types of motion. They might include shopping in the supermarket, playing sports, or walking your dog. Each of these activities involves multiple motions -starts, stops, constant motions, and changing speeds. To prepare for this discussion, you will consider the many different motions that combine to form one activity. Then, you will write a short description of the activity, emphasizing each of the motions involved in it, and create a motion diagram depicting the activity. In your initial post to the discussion, include the short description of your activity, your motion diagram depicting the activity, and your response to the following questions: 1. Is it possible in this activity that you will wind up at the same location that you started? 2. Describe one change to your activity that would result in your covering twice the distance. 3. Remove the motion that occurs in the middle of your activity sequence. How does that change affect your final position or velocity? Finally, be sure to respond to at least two of your peers discussion posts. A Quality Response 357 PM

Answer #1

Suppose i left the house and went to a supermarket to purchase some grocery. There i have to stop at multiple blocks to select the things and put them in my trolley. There were times when i was going to the same point again and again . Finally after doing all the shopping i reached for the payment and was off to home.

1. Yes, when the places are connected in circle to tend to repeat the position .

2. If i didn't follow an straight path and reach a point taking a full round i would definitely cover double the distance or even more.
