You decide to run an experiment. You invite 50 friends to a party. You randomly select 25 friends and tell them that there will be free food; most of them show up to your party. For the other 25 friends you do not mention the free food; none of these free friends show up. Based on the correlation in your data, you conclude that free food causes people to come to parties. A buddy points out "be careful correlation does not imply causation." How should you respond?
