He needs to have major dental work and is quite shocked at the prices quoted to him by two dentists in the California area. He talks with others in his retirement community who encourage him to seek a dentist across the border in Mexico. 1. What do you think of this plan? 2. Do a little research to determine how common it is to seek medi- cal attention in another country. Is the only reason because of the decreased cost? If Harl has problems after his dental work is com- pleted in Mexico and he returns to the United States, what might occur?

1. I think it's better to have his dental work in his country only because there are many risks associated with this :-

- poor quality of health care service

- antibiotics resistance at global level

- complications after surgery while traveling back

- communication challenges

2. Getting medical attention has become common due to increase healthcare costs . No, not only decreased cost is the reason , some of them might be immigrants and want to get their treatment at their native place , another reasons are long appointment dates , to receive a therapy or procedure which is not available in present country .

If Harl has problems after his dental works is completed in Mexico then he has to go back there itself for further management .
