Answer #1

Surface tension of a liquid is a tendency to minimize the surface area .Thus the surface tension is the energy which imposed on the surface molecules in such a way that the surface area should be minimized.

Higher the value of attractive force higher will be the surface tension.

The value of polar unteraction is higher than that of non polar interactions. So hydrogen bonding and dipole dipole interaction have higher energy value than that of London interaction.

Again the attraction force of hydrogen bonding is higher than that of dipole dipole interaction.

So , hydrogen bonding attractive force would lead to the highest surface tension value .
