A group at high risk for suicide is " Bipolar disorder groups "

That means the people who are having mood disorders like anxiety and depression.

Because of there mood changes they may risk of suicidal thoughts.

More than the 25% high rate of suicidal thoughts observed in bipolar disorder people than normal people.

Risk factors like :

* prior suicidal attempts.

* Alcoholism and any other drugs abuse.

* Mood disorders.

* violence

* by knowing someone died with suicide in the family.

* Social isolation

* Chronic disability and diseases.

* Feelings of hopelessness

These are the factors will increases the risk of suicidal thoughts.

Prevention strategies :

1. Identify and assist the problems of these subgroups, through this we can provide solutions for that problems we can prevent their thoughts towards to the suicide.

2. By responding to the crisis, it is one of the risk factor for suicide, during in crisis the people may loss their hope.

3. Effective care and treatment, through this the subgroup peoples may receives sufficient psychological support and emotional support, so that recover.

These are prevention strategies to reduce violence in sub population.

Approach to preventing self directed violence in our current work setting is " public health approach or community based approach ".

It is one of the strategic planning approach.

Through by identifying problem and then choose long term goals and next identify the key factor like key risk factors, next develop the interventions and implement and see the evaluation and improvement.

* mainly the age group between 10 - 19 years old, males in United Nations are having most youth violence in the world.

* Due to some risk factors like drug abuses and crisis and some hopelessness there groups are disproportionately affects to the violence.

* The nursing implications includes, identifying the problems.
