Do you feel that management should have involved nurses from ED and the floor when trying to create a solution to the problem?
yes this is very important for the managerial staff to involve the nurses from emergency department and floor when trying to find any kind of solution for the problem because they are the persons who are working in that area in which problem is appearing and they can provide the best solution for the problem because they are facing it the managerial staff is only sitting in the offices and the did not konw what problems are faced by the staff while they are workiing in that area .
for example if patients are facing problems related to deep vein thrombosis in the ward and the managerial staff is informed about this problem then they will arrange a completely new instrument for that ward to prevent this problem .
the instrument is good very good results are showen by this instrument in other hospitals but it is new for our hospital so there is no worth of its value if it is not used properly if the floor nurses are involved then the managerial staff will come to know about this problem also and this problem cna be resolved by arrenging an instructional class for the staff members .
