Answer #1

This is a  case about dementia patient who can behave aggressively at a stage when disease progress. It also describes about the various restraining methods and a faulty technique i.e., if a patient's hand grip has to be released his thump has to be pulled back which is generally not a therapeutic way and not to be done but this was carried out by Jan to make his friend Michael to be relieved from the grip of Robert's hand. Here if this technique is done it can lead to ulnar nerve damage in the patient and result in negligence and injury. This has to be accepted by student when the educator provides the feedback.
