The rational databases have their own features and it still plays dominating role in the organisation for data storing ,data organising and data processing. There are many technological development took place in Hadoop ecosystem, but still rational databases is using for organising data in all the organisations.The top companies like Microsoft and Oracle earning massive profit by developing SQL DBMS's, and still it is continuously using in the market. So i think that rational databases are not becoming obsolete.
