1. The purpose of self-examination is to detect the changes and check for any abnormalities. The early detection of cancer is more likely to be curable.

2. Women with an average risk of breast cancer should start having yearly mammograms between age 45 and 54

3. About half of men diagnosed with testicular cancer are between 20 and 45 years of age.

4. The symptoms of testicular cancer are discomfort or pain in the scrotum, feeling of heaviness in scrotum, lump or enlargement in the scrotum, fluid accumulation in the scrotum.

5. Melanoma is the most dangerous type of skin cancer. If left untreated it spreads to other parts.
