Patients with hearing impairment or balance disturbances are having the feeling of anxiety and fear. Because disturbance in balance and hearing impairment will affect their day today activities. These patients are having fear to go outside. Often this anxiety will develop into depression,, if left untreated . This problem will affect their personality.. They are having fear that how to cope up with the family, friends or an new environment. They have to wear hearing aid in their lifetime because hearing loss is a chronic illness. This will make the patients more anxious, when they have to wear the hearing aids for the first time . It will affect their personality and patients will develop personality disorder .
