Thomas is a 6 years old child suffering from intellectual disabilities. Wokring with him it was identified that he had some potentials and strengths that could be worked appropriately to plan strategies for better quality life. Thomas can ise signs and simple statement to explain his messages. This is an important thing and this shows the willingness of the child to learn. The ise of this quality helps in formation of the better working and communication skills. Thomas also has ability to recognize pictures and sing posts. The use of pocture slab helps him convey his thoughts. This shows his developing cognition. Therapies such as learning and behavioir management can be developed with him to ensure better services and high quality care.
