Observation is the first method to to understand a three year olds emerging skill.you can observe her while she is playing or talking with other children.how she behave with them.you can ask conduct some physical or mental test to understand her skill .you can ask her that who all are in her family,her parents name,which animal she like questions depend on the age group.ootherwise you can collect information from her parents .
