For this week's discussion board, you are going to construct an employee policy on cell phone use, social media, and personal activity on the internet. Most healthcare organizations have strict policies prohibiting employees from these activities when at work. You are also going to state what the consequences are if the policy is violated.

Cell phone ,an unavoidable electronic gadget needed for everyone from patients to security guard in the healthcare sector.But the use of cell phone is prohibited in these type of setting especially for the Health care employee as a policy .

The following points or consequences can be mentioned in the policy if not followed by the employee

  • Using mobile phone during working hours is strictly prohibited for quality patient service
  • If caught on First time usage ,warning
  • Second time usage, memo
  • Third time usage,loss of pay or deduction in salary
  • Consequent usage ,will be given a memo with suspension
  • If usage of mobile phones caused any injury to the patient will be given termination immediately without any notice or warning
