Self decieving cycle as per Theodre Levitt is the Marketing Nyopia wherein firms assume there is no competition or substitution in market and that groeth is assured by expanding and affluent population.

Thus leads to decay and degrowth in business and eventually fallout. Since industries assume themselves as good focussing rather than custoner focussing.

Industries assume themselves to be production process focussed as against being custoner centric which leads to fallout and selloff.
