ANSWER:
"Allowing employees to use their own smartphones for work will save the company money". As we all known every coin have two faces so it also carry some advantages and disadvantages from this we can know that by provide facility of using their own smartphone in office some how reduce burden of the company also and some where it can increase the burden of managing all smartphone policy or we can say all organisation have some confidential terms and condition and their is a concern of sharing private information with other also.
First we can see the pron of using smartphone in office :
1.It enhanced productivity by having one hand solution in which in only one phone they will get all updates by emails and they can do their work from any where.
2.It is cost savings for the organisation they don't have to purchase bulk smart phone to distribute among their employees so here they don't have to invest.
3.They get improved morale like their are already use to with their devices and will be convinent to employee to use their devices and it will give higher success rates and they will love to use their own devices.
Secondly come to cons of using smartphone in office:
1.Organisation should face security issue because employee who loses a mobile phone and puts sensitive company data in the wrong hand. Organisation need to develop a process to control before allowing employee to access their phone for office use.
2.Issue with controlling acceptable use because it not exactly easy to control how someone uses their personal smartphone.
3.Finding difficulty while retrieving data because when employee left the organisation it get tough to recover their data specially in sales department where data is precious but not able to recover old data.
Conclusion:
According to the above explanation and as per me organisation should invest some money to purchase smartphone and provide smartphone to those employee who really need in the office to use that smartphone because it is not necessary that each employee in the office need office cell phone and do not allow employee to use their personal smartphone in the organisation to control the data management and for retrieving the data and ease of the organisation and employee too.
