Answer #1

Momentum is mostly technical side analysis by looking and understanding the charts, bars and trend lines to capture the stock performance, P/E ratio and other fundamentals performance. Based on this analysis investing will take place by the investor. Value Investing conferred by considering the real worth or intrinsic value of a company conducting fundamental analysis and deriving the free cash flows at the end of the year. Momentum is useful when one wants to invest for a short term but Value Investing gives one a scope to think about long term investing since one would have an idea of purchasing a stock and holding it for a certain long horizon.
