culture is referred to as a set of values, belief and concepts that a group of individual follows related to their ethnicity, race, religion etc. The culture is a strong concept running in human life that has both positive and negative implications on the overall quality of life.

Cultural, racial and ethical sterotyping is the process where the individual are sterotypes on basis of their values, belief and lifestyle patterns. The discrimination on basis of these factors is considered to be the aspect in every society. The cultural sterotypes shapes the individual's attitude and develop their family and social processes.

The culture, racial and ethnic sterotyping in health care is also identified at times. The nursing practices and the health care practices develops discriminatory approaches towards diverse cultural patients making the care poor in quality and discriminating.

Potential harm that the nurses following such sterotypes can cause to patient and their families include- poor healthcare experinces, difficulty in accessing healthcare, challenges with langauge and understanding, inadequate services, lack of patient cnetered care, mental implications due to dicriminatory behaviour, and ill recovery and quality of life.
