Answer #1

The urine collected in the morning at first void is highly concentrated because of its retention in the bladder for a longer period in the night time. This will show a uniform levels of the elements present in the urine and generally much concentrated. The HCG are very low at the initial time of pregnancy or after implantation. This morning sample can detect even a lesser quantity of 20miu /ml and hence help in confirmation of pregnancy immediately after a missed period.
