The reaction that occurs is:

CaCO3 + 2 HCl = CaCl2 + CO2 + H2O

The moles of the reagents are calculated:

n CaCO3 = g / MM = 10/100 = 0.1 mol

n HCl = M * V = 1 M * 0.15 L = 0.15 mol

The limit reagent is HCl, the mass of CO2 produced is calculated:

m CO2 = 0.15 mol HCl * (1 mol CO2 / 2 mol HCl) * (44 g CO2 / 1 mol) = 3.3 g CO2
