1. Diluting Fluid used

Example

Dilution Factor = Amount specimen * amount of diluent

Dilution Factor = Final Volume / Volume from stock

                    = 1 ml / 2 ml

Dilution factor = 2.000

2. Total number of Square counted = 16 ( Large )

WBC count = 16* 0.1

                 = 1.6 cells / cubic millimeter of blood cells
