Answer #1

IMPORTANCE OF EMAIL IN THE WORKPLACE

Email is an electronic form of mail which is used every now and then for fast and direct communication in today's world.

Let me take you to the world where there was no such electronic medium to communicate with the ones who were sitting at the far end. Long back we used paper mails which were delivered physically door to door, old message techniques were telegram , fax machines , telephones , etc.

If I articulate the scenario of old age, communication was way more difficult and sluggish. Major problems faced were :

  • Message delivery time was much more.
  • Urgency was never fulfilled.

If we talk about workplace, email is undoubtedly a blessing. These days demands of any product or any service have been increased exponentially. Companies or factories have to be very fast in terms of manufacturing. quality assuring activities and delivering the product or services.

All this obviously needs a very fast communication methods in order to cope up with fast growing market. Details about raw materials. bill of material, manufacturing unit, etc are exchanged within various departments in few seconds.

Email has major benefits like :

  • It saves time
  • one can send attachments like picture video any record
  • It allows personal communication and also direct communication

Now talking about author's take on email , I would say Email is blessing in workplace. I would justify that with the help of following points:

  • It can increase efficiency of workplace.
  • Worker's productivity can also be boosted up.
  • Turnover rates are also increased.
