Develop a two to three-page discussion and analysis

  • To foster teamwork and a culture of quality improvement, a new director of an ambulatory care center in a hospital has begun holding twice monthly management team meetings, consisting of several physicians, nurses, physician assistants, financial managers, and others.   Attendance at these meetings has been erratic, and enforcing attendance is difficult because many of these people report to their discipline chiefs rather than to the director of the center. What advice would you give to this person to promote more consistent participation?

ANS) As a latest director, sometimes you may required to make new kinds of border lines.Sometimes with the controlling or ruling of the previous director the employees or workers may not be completely satisfied and because of his or her unpleasant controlling the employees may not be supported or respected him or her.So now you are in that director seat and as a latest or present director you are required to cooperate and support the discipline chiefs as much as possible.

-- The discipline chief sometimes may required you to describe them as a new director that you are hope that all the the staffs or employees will be surely attending the whole meetings.And developing this kind of condition the one and only one way is to do the job or work jointly or cooperatively as a big team.

-- Despite the fact they don't present oneself in front of you, so that it is mandatory to take the attendance of each employee before starting every meeting and which is to be correctly reported to the discipline chief.By the way the discipline chiefs should need to be present in every meetings and should be ready with the framework to cheer up every employees and department members to be involved in the meeting and to understand all the necessary information which is discussed in the meeting.Because these kind of meetings will be deciding the future of that particular firm.

-- All the different levels of employees like the Doctors,Doctor assistants, nurses, finance controller and other low level employees in the hospital is playing an important and unique roles in caring the patients and in the development of particular hospital, so to bring that efforts into a more convenient level and more precious level, a good cooperation and team work is needed and also these kind of meeting are a stage for all the employees to say about their workplace problems,so the management can solve that problem in a sincere way.And the meetings are also the correct occasion for discussing about new plans and ideas to improve their welfare services and the advantage of this kind of discussions are, all the employees can convey their own suggestions and view points on the particular topic and by that way they can involve in the decision making.By this way the employees will be also very happy in their field of duty and they will attend all the meetings as well as they will be proud of their director.
