Answer: Women are more prone to obesity as well as many diseases. The increase risk of cardiovascular disease is one of the concern and outcome of the obesity. Obesity causes more chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases etc. The symptoms of hypertension are:
The prevalence of hypertension is 29% in women where as the incidence is 47% in women.
The treatment includes such as diuretics, ACE inhibitors, calcium channel blocker, beta blockers etc. The reduce intake of salt is recommended. Exercise is also one of the factor which can reduce blood pressure. Healthy eating habits can reduce risk of other diseases. It can be managed with proper diet and exercise.
