The body's response to it makes one concerned.As soon as an injury redness, warmth,tenderness and swelling are noted and it is the normal process of healing as well in normal individuals. In case if the individual is diabetic, comatose or with any musculoskeletal disorder ,the injury overtime can affect the functions of the part and decrease its ability.The nerves which are affected makes one feel the pain and a medical help is needed to relieve pain.
