Your task list seems to be growing quite long and you are concerned about how you are going to achieve everything you need to, at the same time you seem to be receiving calls by other colleagues asking for assistance with tasks that are usually completed by another department (however they are uncontactable at the moment). How do you deal with this situation and why?

Answer #1

Honestly, I would have several options to do.

Like, Approach boss and tell him I need a day off, cause I keep bearing the workload all the time.

Or just cope up with whatever's been happening lately. Be the same advice giving person and bearing tons of work on your back and cry lately.

I would be doing the second, because, I know how it would turn out when I approach boss and tell him boldly. It would just mark me as an inefficient employee who isn't worth of employing in this company(Most would think so).

By second, I meant, I'd clearly take time to arrange my task list with whatever can be done early and easily, simultaneously either helping my colleagues or bark at them about my tight schedule. That's what I'd really do.

Note: I tried my best answering the question. It'd be appreciated if you leave an upvote. Thanks in advance.
