I am taking thyroid hormone.

Levothyroxine is the common treatment for thyroid.Levothyroxine is said as man made version of thyroid hormone which is thyroxine.

Class : Hormone.

Action: levothyroxine acts as thyroxine.Thyroxine maintains T3 and T4 levels.like thyroxine levothyroxine brings up the T3 and T4 levels back to normal levels and maintains body functions.

Uses: It treats hypothyroidism.

Side effects: Hair loss, increased sweating, diarhead, shortness of breath, shakiness, mood swings, headache,bone pain etc..

Adverse reactions: chest pain, irregular heartbeat, seizures, allergic reactions.

Contra indications: People who are suffering from diabetes, overactive thyroid gland, osteoporosis, Pituitary harmony deficiency.

Toxicity: high blood pressure, anxiety, fatigue , diarrhea,tremors, depression , difficulty sleeping.

Administration: levothyroxine should be taken before one hour on empty stomach.And should take the tablet on same time on each day.
