Answer #1

Monitoring patient satisfaction in hospital setting is very important because we can measure the quality of care they received from the hospital. In our hospital setting at the time of patient discharge he / she will be provided with a survey form to express what all care they received from the hospital, areas to improve in giving care etc . So by assessing this survey form changes can be made to improve weak areas .The questions in survey form should be short and concise so that it helps to get a effective feedback from the Patient.currently online surveys are used in most of the healthcare settings instead of paper surveys which made more convenient to them .surveys can be made soon after the care received or after patient visit helps to maintain good reputation. If patient dissatisfied with your care next time the staff can be alert and perform the care well .

so patient satisfaction measures are very essential in a health care setting to improve the quality of care . The staff members can improve the areas where they need to improve and thereby the standard of hospital can be improved by providing effective and friendly care to the patient .
