   autonomic nerve system,where the sympathetic nerve system through

   influence of epinephrine and nonepinephrine from the adrenal medulla

   increases the heart rate,while the parasympathetic nerve system through

   the vagus nerve decreases the heart rate.increase the heart rate above 100

   per minute is known as Tachycardia,while a decrease in heart rate below 60

   per minute known as Bradycardia.
