nurse educator has an important role in hospital system. their role is to train and deliver information to the other nurses. she has role in streamlining processes and reduces risk to the patient, nurse and hospital. in her daily round she can assess the other nurses, who are poor in their performance and need extra support and training. she can

1. assess the learning needs of staff.

2. conduct a need assessment

3. analyse the need assessment data.

4.develop a master educational plan for the hospital.

5. seek available resources.

6. suggest a variety of teaching resources.

7. implement the educational plan.

8. gain support from staff and administration.

9. encourage staff input and participation.

10. develop a support system for presenters.

11. monitor program implementation and effectiveness.

12. evaluate the overall educational plan.
