Answer #1

Fast foods usually contain more calories from sugars and fats with less nutrients such as protein and fiber. Regardless of the negative health consequences of fast foods, they are much popular. Some of the reasons for their popularity include,

  • They are prepared quickly
  • They are available easily or it is easy to get them
  • They are tasty and simply irresistible
  • They are convenient to people who do not like cooking or who do not have enough time to prepare food
  • They are available for less cost

Despite the above conveniences, fast foods are unhealthy. So, the parents and children must be warned about the consequences of eating more junk food. They include, the risk of overweight, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, nutritional deficiencies, growth retardation, and metabolic disorders. Providing the alternative healthy recipes for junk foods will also helpful.
