BRMS stands for Biological Response Modifiers which can be applied to treat diseases such as cancer through modifying or adding the body's natural defense mechanism which is utilised by immunotherapy in order to fight against cancer.

There are various different types of BRMS used in today's medical field to treat previously untreatable diseases, one of such is cytokines present in medications such as interleukin 2 and alpha interferon.

Interleukin 2 facilitates the communication between the immune system in order to attack and destroy the cancer cells by activating body defense mechanism or system . But these drugs could be contraindicated in heart and lung diseased patients.
