Answer #1

MDG CHILD MORTALITY:

  • Efforts to improve household food security and nutrition to children.
  • Efforts of provision of training materials, community centred initiatives, training programmes for staffs
  • Improving complementary feeding for babies, giving foods in addition to breast milk has led to significant reduction in child mortality.
  • The child mortality has reduced more than half from 2000 to 2015, falling from 90 to 43 deaths per 1000 live births.

MAJOR CHALLENGES IN MDG: IMPROVE MATERNAL HEALTH:

  • Millions of births were not assisted by a midwife , doctor or a nurse. This situation made more difficult by global shortage of qualified health care workers.
  • Unintended pregnancies and adolescent childbearing through universal access to sexual and reproductive healthcare services were critical to further advances in the health of women.

COUPLE ADJUSTMENT MDG TO ELIMINATE DISPARITY:

  • Simple education goal reduced the education challenge for individuals to fulfil their potential primary education, sharply simplifying the 'education for all' that was implemented.
  • This created perverse incentives, such as to neglect other levels and forms of education as well as the challenges of quality and equity.

ELEMENTS OF THE COUNTRYS CULTURE IMPACT THE PROGRESSION OF MDG:

  • Women's political and socioeconomic participation eg, female parliamentarians.
  • Good governance across sectors. eg world governance index, global leadership and organizational behaviour effectiveness.
