How do you positively or negatively affect the quality and safety of the care your patients receive?

Nurses are the main professionals involved in the care of the patients in providing them a quality and safe environment for the treatment. Any disruption can either lead to positive or negative impacts in the level of care.

There can be a positive effect on the quality and safety of care when there is adequate number of staffing ,team work,a nurse who is clinically competent to take care of the patients.

It can also negatively affect a patient care when there is shortage of nurse in the care,increased work load,low wages ,no reputation ,minimal or no training on current trends can affect the quality of care in a negative way.
