Dental carries results from having sugary foods,carbonated drinks, that causes biofilm over the teeth.

As fluoride is a common naturally occurring element and it helps n tooth decay. It also prevents tooth decay by demineralization. But excess fluoride content in the water results in dental fluorosis that affects teeth and skeletal fluorosis that affects bones and joints. Proper oral screening is need to identify dental fluorosis characterized by white streaks on the teeth.
